Aprendió a tocar la guitarra cuando estaba en la película Changing Destiny (cambiando el destino) (aunque ya sabia tocarla esta fue su oportunidad de perfeccionarse) con Roger Daltrey de uno de sus grupos favoritos The Who.
Realmente tiene dos hermanos (Robert,29 y Travis,23) y dos medios hermanos un hermano y una hermana. El ha escrito toda su música. Una vez canto uno de sus temas en “The Amanda Show” en donde co-protagonizaba con Amanda Bynes el tema fue "Lost A Lover" la cual interpreto con su banda 24/7 si no lo vieron se perdieron una buena presentación!
La primera canción que el escribió fue "Lost A Lover", pero la canción mas significativa e importante que el piensa que escribió fue “Telegraph”
Saco su disco llamado de igual forma “Telegraph” en el 2005 y esta disponible para Latinoamérica solo por Internet, yo lo compre en amazon.com y esta 100% recomendado.
